The SWEAT Southsea team are offering this awesome opportunity. The Bear Grylls Survival Race has been designed by Bear Grylls himself and SWEAT Southsea are supporting Bear’s passionate efforts to save the Rhino from extinction whilst taking on the ultimate 10k challenge! Places are limited so you need you to act quickly if you’d like to get involved.
Rhinos are one of the longest surviving animals on the planet and are being poached for their horn which is used in traditional Asian medicine and is mistakenly regarded as a status symbol. Rhino horn is said to be the most expensive ‘commodity’ in the world, selling on the black market at US £42,000 per kilogram.
By signing up for the Bear Grylls Race for Rhino Survival, you will be supporting vital global rhino conservation work, including work in Vietnam which is the largest destination market for rhino horn.
The SWEAT Southsea package includes: Return coach travel, Breakfast on the day of the event, Official tee shirt, Training programme and up to 5 team outdoor training sessions as well as an official photograph! All of this is just £50. Live music and celebratory drinks follow as London’s Trent Park hosts an after race Festival with live music!
