Tonight Pie & Vinyl Presents will present another night of new music at The Registry. This time around they have Sheffield’s latest hopefuls Drenge bringing their slick and succulent grunge-tinged rock’n’roll to the stage.
Supporting will be the appropriately named Blood Sport, who – having also appropriately formed at the University of Sheffield – make erratic noises that dabble in afrobeat and wildcard experimentalism. Their latest release Fruits: The Tye Die Tapes Recordings is available as a pay-what-you-like download over on Bandcamp now. These guys are being heavily rotated on BBC Radio 6 at the moment.
Best of all, entry is free as per usual, and there’ll be resident Pie & Vinyl DJ’s to keep your feet moving all the way until 2am. It’s going to be grand.
