Inspired by the success of the always popular annual Southsea Christmas Covers Party, tonight six bands will attempt to serenade you with their own unique versions of classic love songs in order to raise a bit of cash to fight against sexually transmitted diseases, as well as to increase sexual health awareness. We’re good friends with the organisers and some of the bands and wish them the very best tonight, it’s going to be good with the lineup including the following:
– Gaea Girls with Stigma (Demons side project with guest MC)
– Battery Hens
– Jesse Wyldes and The Stallions
– Outgun Empire
– Cosham Community Players Association
As well as the music their will be a fundraising raffle with prizes donated by local businesses and institutions, the prizes include:
– 2 Tickets to No. 6 Cinema, Historic Dockyard
– Meal for 2 at Pie and Vinyl, Castle Road
– T-shirts courtesy of Strong Island Clothing Co.
This event is in aid of MEDFASH – The Medical Foundation for HIV and Sexual Health and will take place tonight from 19:30, entry is only £3.
