South Coast DJ’s and producers Sekklow and SDM joined forces in 2011 to create Area Zero. A duo not content with sticking to one genre but rather making sure their productions are bass heavy and influenced by styles such as dubstep, drum and bass, grime and oldskool. Sekklow and SDM are both well established DJ’s, playing regular slots based in Portsmouth.

Proprietor of DNBForum and long-time resident of Portsmouth’s ‘Breakneck‘ events, Stuart ‘SDM’ Mullen has become a familiar face in his home town of Portsmouth amongst the drum & bass and dubstep scene and DJ’ing at the past two Beach Break Live Festivals and various venues in the South of the UK.

Chris ‘Sekklow’ King started mixing from the age of 15 and has since progressed to music production, having his first release on High Rankin’s Suicide Dub label in 2010 with ‘Be Alright’ followed closely by ‘Transmit’ on 10Ton Recordings.
