“A student and family friendly Cafe at the top end of Fawcett Road, Jensons has been there for years but recently new owners have given it a fresh lease of life with the aim of establishing a decent, local, friendly cafe.

The cafe is well situated for local student housing, making it more convenient than others, and the owners (Julian and Louise) are keen to build rapport with customers so the atmosphere is always friendly. As with most cafe’s the menu is straight forward with a decent all-day breakfast (small & large) as well as baguettes, sandwiches, omellettes etc as well as some homemade cakes. Importantly, all the produce is of good quality and made to order.

And, on the rare occasions the sun is shining (or for those dedicated smokers!) there is seating outside. For anyone just visiting the area (most likely for the famed Fawcett Road furniture shops) there is always convenient parking available on the local side roads.”
